Mental Health

The Psychology of Colour is based on principals discovered through psychological research of how humans interact with and are affected by colour. Helping people feel their very best is at the heart of mental wellbeing and why mental health is an important part of our brand. That is why we have committed to donating proceeds to various mental health services. For more information on this effort please contact us.

We have also dedicated a section on our site where you can find resources, blogs and information around the topic of mental health.

About the Designer

I am a mental health professional who happens to also have a love for fashion and jewellery. Looking for a creative outlet, I decided to combine my two passions together which is how The Psychology of Colour by Freeya was started.

It began when I noticed many of my clients talking about their feelings in terms of colour which prompted me to look more into how colour represents different emotions within us. The science was there - colours are powerful. I wanted a way to represent that and thought what better way than to wear a meaningful colour that could always be with you.

Jewellery can be a visual reminder for us to pause and reflect on how we are doing. It's more than just jewellery, but a way to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life, which is an important piece to mental wellbeing. I hand select and craft each piece myself with the intention of this in mind. My hope is that you can take a little mindfulness and wellbeing with you each day.
